Olio Devices faced the challenge of breaking through the oversaturated smartwatch market. The watch—conceived by tech geniuses behind NASA and Apple—exceeded the category standard with its classic form, designed with craftsmanship typically reserved for a name brand, Swiss-made watch. 

Solution

Our agency worked with the go-to photographer for Tom Ford, Christian Ferretti to capture rich visuals that challenged the sterile, white-backdropped images that dominated the category. We positioned the watch as a modern timepiece that allows you to control time. Our objective was to de-position the Apple Watch as candy coated tech and void of taste or discerning style.


Impact

Using these bold, fashionable images as digital assets, we surpassed the benchmark CTR in the fashion category 4 times over, driving traffic to the website that may have been otherwise ignored.
